Wow. This was only a couple of roads away from where I grew up, and I was only 2 months old at the time of this photo. I remember those tranny vans!

My nan and grandad used to go in there on the night of a match. You could socialise with the manager and team. She used to say Joe Royle and Harry Catterick, amongst others, were alright. We must have loads like this.
She won a bottle of whisky signed by the team circa 1970. Some council workers stole it years later though. As I say, I'll try to dig 'em out tomorrow.
