Allo All,

We've made some signings so we can all relax and be happy again and look forward to retaining the pub comp trophy for the third time. Basically for those who have not attended before the pub comp compromises a number of teams with three events, previously it was darts (rules explained later), pool and poker however poker will be out this time to be replaced by a quiz, this time however we are upping the teams. Everton, Liverpool, Arsenal have confirmed already with West Ham and Cardiff to follow!!!

TNT Magazine will be sponsoring the event and the day will form an article to feature in the magazine (so colours a must) the following week aswell as being placed on the TNT website, the guys there are also trying to get a feature with a UK media organisation but all up we are getting free publicity for our club and a chance to plug our site etc. We are also speaking with a Beer company re sponsorship but this will be confirmed next week but it should be $5 Pints all the way!!!

All are team events with each club having 8 players in each one, we had 30+ turn up last time so we just ask who wants to play in what and who just wants a day out on the beer!

The date for the event is Saturday 11th October so we still have plenty of time to organise but getting the word out there is the main thing to ensure good numbers..

The Comp is held in Cheers Bar on George St and starts at midday (12.00) and runs for approx 5/6 hours, all in all a great day out and a good llaugh with plenty of banter but obviously no idiots, I've arranged a few of these and they've always gone well as we have a really good age mix and everyone just wants to enjoy the day.

Cheers Bar provide a compere who is also the referee and lunch whilst I organise the trophy.

There is a no charge to enter this time so the trophy, prizes and food for all attendees (members) is provided.
Everton Supporters Australia have always turned up in good numbers for this event and with the media being there this time I really hope that you can join us for what should be another great day.

I'll be in Australia for the whole of Febuary so I'll miss this. Would have been nice to meet up with you guys. Best of luck Lee.

There will be events in February too so keep in touch and if you're in Sydney send us the dates so we can get a few of us together to catch up for a beer.

I work on behalf of TNT, the parcel/package distribution company. Is it the same one that makes the magazine?

TNT magazine is a completely different setup, it's a mag for British expats and travellers who are in Australia.

Is there a lad called Alex from liverpool still involved with you lot mate?
 

I'll be able to come along for a couple of hours in the afternoon, so better not put me down for any events, I'll just have a pint.
