Looks like he's going to Birmingham.

He's crap anyway...

Nah in all seriousness, I would have liked him at Everton. Especially on a loan deal.

Now a loan deal is another matter, all I was doing Danny is recalling other esperiences when buying players purely on reputation, that is dangerous(y)

I've seen him play though Mont, and after feedback from Juve fans etc I thought he would have been a good signing.

fair enough but do you honestly believe that we would have bought him for £2 mil, the Sickly Swede is on more than that pa at Citeh:lol:

I wrote this yesterday in the rumours thread and really should have put it here. it is about Kapo and this is what I wrote. May change some peoples minds. (Danny, I am with you on this one matey)

"What I find curious is how little response Kapo has received in this thread. If you look at axl's link they do not mention what position he plays. Just to let you all know he is a 26(old enough to know what he wants), married( so he is grounded and wants a long term placement so his family can settle), and the biggest point LEFT FOOTED ATTACKING MIDFIELDER) (which apparently we have a space for) and 2 million is the signing fee/transaction costs for getting him here. Just thought people may be interested in these few snippets.

One little worry though. Levante are [Poor language removed]. why don't they need an attacking left midfielder that is naturally left footed???? There are not many around. What is his problem?

"Became famous with Auxerre, went to Juve, played like crap, and was given to Monaco, where he played just as bad, and now they sent him to that small team Levante, "

Quick answer

He moved far too soon in his career and has never settled, maybe intimidated with the bigger surroundings too soon, got loaned out, had his confidence smashed, never got going, got binned again, and needs a fresh start with a club that has fans that will support you and that will defend you against all odds if they believe you are trying all you can. (guess who that team should be)

I say sign him for 1-2million and educate the boy. I have faith in him. He has the talent, go looking for a goal he scored for auxerre against arsenal back in 2002 in the Chamions league. It was also the week before Arsenal lost their first game in 31 league games against some team called Everton FC at goodison (anyone remember a momentous goal scored by a young lad that week)

Just thought I would give you all a bit of a heads up that maybe he just took a little time to come to us. Maybe I am being over romantic but maybe he was destined to be one of us by scoring against a team you were not meant to score against, the same time we scored against them.

I will be ready for the insults now, but I have been correct many times in the past, why change now"

I rock ;)

Gaz, I'm not totally convinced that we should sign him - but I am now 100% certain that we should sign you as head scout!!

Are you an estate agent? Actually my point about his valuation, if he is as good as you think, remains valid. Some lesser clubs have money to burn at present, could we afford the fee, based on your assessment he sits at Gods right hand so at least £10 mil and his wages would be about £40,000 per week. I hope DM would not sign him without having proper checks being made, hence we go back to Nyarko and we can throw in Koldrup, incidentally we don't want him anyway so stop rocking and listen to reason:P :P :P (y) (y)
