Hi all, I’m on the North shore of Boston for the Denmark game. Anyone around or know of any pubs I should watch the game in? Long shot of course but you never know. Feel like I’m missing out of the fun. Of course England play well when I’m not in the country. Haha

Try and find a bar that usually shows EPL games or has a football ‘allegiance’. Your best bet will obviously be travelling into the city - not sure how feasible that is from your location.

Otherwise just watch it wherever you’re staying and hopefully you’re back for the final.

Boston prob has a few footie pubs just do a search.

as far as pubs go w/ allegiance to a specific club, those are rather rare. usually supporters clubs get together at a pub and occupy a couple tables

Problem with Boston is they have that jarg ‘I’m Irish’ mentality. Not realising that most ‘English’ people have Irish ancestors.

I have Irish grandparents but consider myself English. You get Americans who’s closest relation arrived in New York in the 1800’s but consider themselves ‘Irish’.

Try this, its were the supporters club meet.

I went to the Banshee when I was there, it’s ok and there’s plenty of televisions . It’s one of those places that a few supporters groups go to.

I've lived in the States, and you are spot on.

Individuals are desperate for some kind of 'authenticity', and American-Irish have a very romanticised view of the nations history.

Like a lot of Liverpool people, I have Irish blood, but it's not something I feel the need to flaunt.

If my country had so little history I’d cling on to anything I could too...
