Okay then, let's do this. My personal dream team:

Martyn
Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines
Donovan Arteta Fellaini Pienaar
Rooney
Yakubu

interesting...

mine would probably be

Howard
Hibbo (i love him) Jags Distin Baines
Fellaini Arteta
Coleman Drenthe(?)
Rooney Saha

Super subs would be Cahill, Ossie and Big Dunc to batter and confuzzle defences for the last 25 mins. Others on the Bench would be Neville, Stubbs, Carsley, Pienaar, The Yak.

Howard
Yobo Jags Distin Baines
Gravesen Fellaini Arteta Pienaar
Cahill
Yakubu

Bench : Martyn, Hibbert, Osman, Rodwell, Saha

I went with Yakubu because he is more of a prolific lone striker
I included Osman in for his versatility in defence, midfield and attack plus his knack for scoring goals when they are needed.
Didnt include Rooney because as good as he is he was never a team player at Everton, always thought of himself as above everyone
I really wanted to include Donovan in for his consistent performances and ability to lift those around him but simply wasnt here long enough to be in a best of format.
Went with Howard because of his form over the last few years with a completly different calibre of players and skills to what Nigel had

GK Martyn - Arguably one of our most important signings of the last decade, after a string of gash keepers failed to replace Nev
RB Hibbo - Consistent as ****, never going to grab the headlines but will very rarely let you down
LB Baines - Most important played in the squad right now and the only player that could keep Pistone out of a dream team
CH Jags - Ignoring his woeful passing, solid as a rock at the back, a highly dependable centre half
CH Weir - Getting on a bit even when he came to us but his reading of a game more than makes up for lack of pace
RW Coleman - He's been pretty good, not exactly world class but the best right winger we've had in the last decade
LW Pienaar - His link up play and understanding with Baines were out of this world. Struggling now without Baines though
CM Arteta - Even though he's gone and broke my heart, at his best he's probably the best player I've ever seen at Everton*
CM Carsley - No words needed.
CF Yakubu - Like RFUS said, first season Yak was a monster
CF Rooney - Even though he's a prick he's pretty good at footy. Plus his transfer money transformed the club

Subs Howard, Lescott(prick) Fellaini Big Dunc Osman Saha

*I missed our best times in the 80's so he's the best I've seen play
