Everton crest NOT allowed on GrandOldTeam

Indeed, but the club determine who is authorised to display their crest.

For their own reasons, Everton Football Club Company Limited don't permit/exclude GrandOldTeam/unofficial websites from its use.

They don't need to provide a reason as to why.

Would they not have been better off keeping last year's crest then? Nobody with an ounce of taste would have had that as their avatar.

That erroneous use of the apostrophe to pluralise avatar makes my blood boil. Referring to "our client" is supposed to make us believe this is legal and official (officious more like) yet they use an apostrophe and grammar like THAT?

When all is said and done, when the older members of this forum are 6 feet under or burned to little specs of dust, there will be another legion of dedicated blues following the club, the clowns at the club now willl have made a fortune and buggered off to another exotic island leaving us to pick up the peices of each and every managerial reign. next they will be having laser surgery removing all crests that adorn the chests, arms and legs of every Everton fan.
