My favorite player when I was 5 was Michael Owen. Little did I know what an intolerable prick he turned to be (and propably already was back then). Too excited about his hattrick against Germany in 2001.

I sometimes do a secret squirrel mission to Goodison night games and don't tell any of my Liverpool based family that I'm there.

I have impure thoughts about DCL He's young enough to be my grandson. Oh to be 16 again...

I said Rooney was too old and unfit to be a good signing but to be fair plenty of people said that.

One truly embarrassing example was I genuinely thought Jelavic was a better striker the Suarez and would outscored him by a mile in his first full season. Oh dear.....
