Would you rather Everton be lauded by the press as "the team most likely to crash into the top 4", or as they have been doing, ignore us while we quietly climb up the league?

Its really annoying that we don't seem to get much recognition, but if that means it takes pressure off the team, dampens down expectations, and we can go about our business quietly and efficiently, then the media can ignore us as much as they like.

Good question.

I guess at this juncture, I'd prefer we climb up the table stealthly vs. it being trumpeted in the press.

Who's to say we are the team most likely to crash into the top 4? Currently we're 9th in the premier league, with the following teams above us who could also claim that title: Man City, Portsmouth, Blackburn and Aston Villa.

We've hardly set the premier league on fire this year so can we really moan that the media dont brag us up when we're currently mid-table?

In previous seasons I'd agree, we have been largely ignored in spite of position, but this year lets not forget where we currently lie.

Personally I wouldnt give us that title and I'm a die hard crazy Evertonian, so I dont really expect the media to give us it either. But to answer your question, I'd love it if the media bragged about how good we've become, but they dont, and probably never will, so I'm not holding my breath.

lets do it in spite of them and all other detractors.

continues good behaviour abroad (how far from amsterdam) serves as a fine indication of excellent support.
