Got to admit, the sale of Rodwell has many Evertonians like me excited this close season, and there's still time for another big one out the door !

The only thing that could improve on this feeling is like a share of the profits being generated by this board's continued financial prudence. A good structure would be:

1) first 35% of each transfer receipt distributed between board members with individual share holdings of 20% or more, as a performance incentive reward

2) Second 20% used to pay down bank debts/loans etc, reducing ongoing interest payments

3) 43% used for player replacement costs, we need replacement players for fixture purposes etc

4) 2% effectively redistributed to fans in the form of subsidised ticket prices etc

radical, but so were floodlights which we were first with

Who's paying for the likes of Fellaini?

first 35% of each transfer receipt distributed between board members with individual share holdings of 20% or more..

Is that you Bill?

The 43% deals with the instalment payments on an occassional marquee signing like Fellaini, and his sale in a years time helps the process continue.

Nothing wrong with the owners of a business being well rewarded for excellent performance btw, if we the fans also share.
