Player Valuation: £60m
New Everton signing Dan Gosling has described the Toffees as 'brilliant' after completing his transfer from Plymouth.

Gosling left Home Park at the beginning of the January transfer window and he is now looking forward to his new career in the Premier League.

The defender made 24 appearances for Plymouth, but Gosling recognises the difference between the play-off chasing Championship outfit and Everton.

"It's brilliant at Everton," Gosling told Everton's official website.

"Everything about it is so much different from Plymouth, no disrespect to that club but it's all new here - it is just fantastic."

Transition

The 17-year-old, who now operates as a right-back, also believes he has changed as a player in his time at Plymouth.

Gosling began his career as an attacking midfielder, before making 12 appearances for England's Under 17 side in a more defensive role.

And Gosling recognises his transition as a player ahead of the beginning of his time at Everton.

"I think I've changed from how I used to be, I used to be an attacking midfielder, getting into the box," Gosling added.

"I played defensive midfielder for England and I've also started playing right-back more recently - just bombing on round the winger and getting crosses in the box really."

Hope this lad makes it here. From what iv read an heard he could become a good little signing. Attacking rightback is just what we need.

Wasn't he touted as the next big thing a wee while ago and had every big premiership club under the sun sniffing around him?
Not to sure aobut his dodgy gelled up 12 year old hair cut though!

No, we can't.

Fernandes was player 25 of 25 allowed players. We can register no more.

The only way he could play is if we unregistered a player and stuck him in. Although I would not see Moyes giving a 'new' player their chance in such an important game. Not a time to gamble.

Good to see one for the future thats for sure DM doing what he does best shopping for gems in the lower leagues

Even over Gravesen?

I just hope he actually makes it to the first team. I mean, there's a fair amount of cash being gambled on an untested player. I want him to do well, I really do, I just hope he eventually gets the chance to show us what he's made of.

I'm not sure about this, but i think that it might be possible to name extra players in place of players already in the uefa squad. Don't quote me if i'm wrong tho! :P

When Faddy leaves. Unsign him and replace with Gosling. If the possibility arises.
