in a way that the people of the city feel that they are not english they are scouse (and the r/s like to sing about that fact) due to being left to rot and fester by the nation in the last recession, never given any help in sorting out the regions problems etc.
the same can now be said of lcc and their attitude to our club, so do they really expect Evertonians to care about wether or not players and supporters of the team that gets all the assistance and help from them feel insulted by any songs from our end ?
the more this goes on and the more the finger is pointed at the blue 3/4's of the city, then more likely i see it going on, Evertonians hold a real grudge against the city at the moment and see it all as a kopite conspiracy to deny us anything, lcc would love us to move to kirkby and then stick up a bid redshite sign at the city limits, it would be erected the same day for certain.
it is time for hands to be held up in the corridors of power and people start admitting that they have cast votes as supporters of lfc and not as representatives of their electorate.
it is time for newspaper edititors to pull some of their staff in line and point out that they employed not as kopites but sports journalistsand so it is innapropriate to snipe at everton when a match they are writing about doesnt involve us, mcgovern in the mirror being one of the worst offenders.
it is time for a journo to sit down and go through this whole derby situation and get to the crux of it, lets face it we are getting such bad press regarding derbies that they wouldnt have to go the whole hog and pin it on r/s, just saying that we have been blamed for a lot that isnt necessarily us would be a start and a vast improvement on what has been written thus far.
as it is the blues in the city are feeling alienated and neglected, the councillors should know all about that and therefore not inflict it on their own, blues are on the defensive as they feel let down, when people feel like that they tend to lash out and not care about what the instigators think. so before all the blame on tuesday morning is levelled at blues just think about what part you have all played in causing it. statements from the police such as the other day will not make any difference as all they did was alienate us as well.
i know this is of a similar theme to the other thread but the point really need to be driven home to them all.
yes the r/s have 5 gold stars and have brought glory to the city but in the process how many r/s have been arrested abroad and brought shame on the city ? i remember after rotterdam, reading that there was only 1 evertonian arrested, a week later lfc went to heysel.......i dont think i need to say anymore.
of course any r/s that reads this will just say "bitter bluenoses again" because they are oblivious to their crimes and will never say they were in the wrong, it's always "the others" and never them, the naughty kids of the playground who will deny doing anything then laugh as they walk away and go do it again.
