Not been that far along for a long time. Used to be a good Indian restuarant and takeaway there. Dodgy nightclub as well.

The nightclub has been bulldozed mate, the one by the esplanade?

The Indian, was it the Gulistan? The old church by the traffic lights? I used to go to the snooker hall upstairs there and have a beer to skive off school when I was 15, 16ish. Happy days.

Think that might have been the name. Must have been more than 20 years since I was in the nightclub. Bumped into the fella that played "Our Damon" on Brookside in there one Friday night, then met him in the Utd end at the Dundee derby at Dens the following day. Happy days indeed...

Really enjoyed that. Hands down one of the best things I have read here. Would love to go on about just how incredibly boss your article is, but I am afraid it would sound trite. Quality writing from a quality Blue. Best way I could put it. Thanks for that one Jock.

Ta very much buddy. Really appreciate people taking time to read it like and comments like this make it worthwhile writing it.
