The team i play for in dublin have been drawn away to a team from co.cork called EVERTON AFC, in the 3rd round of the FAI intermediate cup, if we win this game we will be in the 1st round proper of the FAI cup, our equivelent of the FA cup.

Just thought people would be interested to know theres is another Everton football club, and not as far away as chile! They play in blue aswell.

We play them on 5th dec, i,ll find out more about them when we are down there, be interested to find out how they were formed, and what is the everton link.

There is also a team in dublin called everton, but they are at a much lower level, and are fairly new, i think.

Thanks, be good to know that nickname. They have what looks like a swan on their badge...maybe it's that?

I know Dublin City were (eventually) formed out of Home Farm Everton, I wasn't aware there was another Everton knocking about in that city.

Well we lost a league game 3-1 away last night, and if my performance is anything to go by, i,ll be lucky to get on the pitch, never mind scoring the above mentioned consolation goal!
