This Gobbo in work has offered me 2/1 on us finishing above them again this season.

So I spoke to Paddy Power who have offered me 7/2! Anyone reckon that's decent value for a cheeky £50 stake?

I'd take that bet to be honest mate, they're doing all the same BS again this summer. We're signing this player and that, the new manager gets the tradition and passion of this club, we won't turn on him after 10 weeks because we didn't beat some lesser team at home.

Fulham are an interesting one since they nearly have a completely new squad, they could either end up boss or go completely tits up. Got a sneaking suspicion it'll be the latter.

It's a poor quality league, really. I just wish I gave us any chance of taking advantage of it with this manager and no money but I don't.

they're liverpool, something will go right for them, they can't have picked another wrong manager surely. downing will turn into a worldbeater or something. you look past newcastle's 1st 11 and there's a lot of gash and im sure everything pappis cisse hits wont still turn to gold, otherwise they'll be getting more than they got for carroll in the summer
