I'd be mighty proud if I were a Carlisle fan tonight, they took 6,000 down to see it, a great turn-out for such a small club, and they came so close to taking us back to Blundell Park or whatever it's called for a replay on a cold freezing wednesday night.

Some guy hit the frame when it was 1-1, and it took until the 83rd minute for the Premiership club to get in front, Carlisle have come and gone, but we will continue.

so good to be in the hat for round four, s****horpe at home if you'd be so kind.

Bilyaletdinov just doesn't look like he has the attributes to play outwide to be honest, and it's got nothing to do with him not being a natural winger. Lots of attacking midfielders play outwide but most of them are agile, tricky and quick thinking.

He doesn't have a 'trick' to create space for himself or even get a yard on a fullback. He's better on the right than he is on the left, despite what people say, but even on the right he looks uncomfortable.

It's worrying, because he's clearly a talented lad, but the positions he's playing in don't suit him. The only thing I could offer is give him a go with Coleman behind him, someone with pace and a bit of drive. Or play him behind the front man and drop Cahill.

Good idea (y)

Well he's not a winger and never has been - although the lads with gce's in **** all behind me think he should be.

As soon as he comes into the centre we score a goal - no coincidence at all.

I agree with you massively, drop Cahill and put Billy there. But then we need someone for the right.

I agree with you, the lad are no winger he much prefer to play in the middle or behind the striker, that's where he plays for Russia and I think he did get a couple more goals from outside the area, if we play him in the middle.

Also the problem is Moyes keep playing him on the right, when if he plays on the left he could at least cross a ball into the box, although people seem to think it's a waste of the Pienaar/Baines combination if we play Billy on the left.

Well didn't see much of the famous Baines/Pienaar at the weekend.

Did they wear a mask when they took that £8 off you mate?

We had an off day to be fair, if we played like anywhere near what we can we'd smash you all over the show but fair play your lads were up for it and made it uncomfortable. Much like a giant holding off a midget with one hand and slapping him with the other, we decided to go through you in the last ten minutes which is sound as we could do without a replay.

Our fans don't do that singing stuff, that's for bad soccer am blerts. And Portsmouth.

And Howard defo had that crossbar shot covered, he just wanted to sex it up for you a bit there.

Glad you enjoyed your day out in the 21st century mate.

Stick around, you're sound.

Nice Chico, why not try being condescending! :p

Next time I want to find out what happened, I'll read Soccernet's match report rather than going through the tripe I've read on here.

Some of you make me laugh to be honest.

Yes, really. (n)(n)

I always go on there, tho didnt today as i listened to the radio feed.

I reckon if we fielded the young lads we'd probably have got put out today.

I don't agree with this, giving 2 or 3 hungry, enthusiastic kids the chance wouldn't of cost us the game, but we will never know now anyway.

When the young lads did come on they changed the game.

I took me Missus to this one for her first game, Ive been getting nothing but stick off the lads I sit by been called a traitor and everything haha
