I gave motm to Garner, playing out position, up against a real speed merchant. Topped off a good performance with a nice goal.

Not yet, mind you it took 10 days to get the Roma program
Plenty of programmes on sale before and after the game. If you couldn't go to the game, a word of warning. The programme is more like a book and weighs like one. Surely this is a one off special and future programmes will be "normal" size. You can't fold this one or stick it in your pocket.

Extended highlights just after 11 minutes, that chance Grealish creates for McNeal when we’re already 2 up and Pickford has just saved the pen is absolutely wild to see somebody in an Everton shirt do. In the box, 2 players around him casually just holding onto the ball and having the footballing brain to calmly find a completely unmarked man in the box. Neither of the players will jump in becuase they’re terrified and he has their full attention, they’re like rabbits in the headlights. They don’t know what to do, he just calmly strokes it to McNeal who really should do better.

I have a feeling Grealish is going to be a real expectations resetter for this team. They’re going to find themselves in situations they’ve not had to think about before just by him being on the pitch and other teams being absolutely terrified of him

It's a good point. It's been a long time since we had multiple players in the team who, on their own, would have defenders doubling up on them. Hopefully their mere presence will create space for each other to become more effective.

Thought we played better today than last Sunday, Wolves capitalised where Brighton couldn't. Need to find the stato bods and see how we measure up for game stats of...

our possession in oppo half
losses of possession and immediate win back
touches in oppo box (ooh err)
fouls for and against

There is a definite change of game tactics happened, new roles for players that used to play very differently. A watch in progress (or an analysis).

CM the obvious headache.
