Surely we have to try to beat ManUre to this lad Everton Ribeiro (just based on his name alone).
We wouldn't even have to make up a new song for him!
I am not allowed to post a URL :-(
So, just go on ESPN Soccernet and have a look under News & Features and then Tranfers.

He sounds a hoot. I think the key here is that someone needs to get on to him to add Barry, Mirallas, Barkley and co. to his "video game" so that he will be very comfortable playing with them!

Never seen him play, but from reading bits about him I think he'd be well out of our price range.

Great name though.

Been linked with Liverpool too! Can't see them being happy having an Everton playing for them.

Not after the Mark Walters debacle.

are we even linked with him or just because the name?

the scenes though if, everton beat manu to sign everton

have that moyesaih

So after getting knocked by for other player at our club, his next plan is to go after players with the same name as us !?!?!

Genius !

Why can't he get a work permit? Is that a guy from Cruzeiro? I saw him playing in Brazilian top league. He was very good and pretty cool with the ball, and could be replacement for Pienaar. Guy just helped Cruzeiro to win the title of the best club in Brazil for football season 2013.

Cruzeiro playmaker Everton Ribeiro has told ESPN Brazil that he would be very interested in a move to Manchester United – because they are his favourite team with in play in video games.

The highly rated 24-year-old has just helped Cruzeiro to their first Brazilian league title in 10 years, and was also named the league’s best player for the season.

He has also been linked with Liverpool, and a fee in the region of £15m will reportedly force Cruzeiro's hand to sell.

“I already watch the Premier League games,” Ribeiro told ESPN Brasil. "They are great teams that play in Europe. They are the dream of any player.

“I feel I am ready to play in any part of the world. If you play for Cruzeiro, you can play in any place.

“United have Kagawa, Rooney, De Gea is the goalkeeper. I know them very well because I play with them a lot in video games as they are a great team. You play it one day after the other and know the players even better.

Ribeiro added: “I let my agent and Cruzeiro talk about that. When they feel it's good for both parties, they will let me know. I'll see and we'll analyse everything.”
