Does anyone know what will happen to qualification spots if City and/or Utd with the CL and EL this season?

Is it possible as many as 8 English teams will qualify for Europe and possibly 5 for the Champions League? Lost track of all the permutations as they say.

I’d rather not think about different permutations until such an event does happen

Man Utd have qualified for champions league anyway so then winning the europa league doesn’t change anything cos they will be in champs league anyway

Only one I’m no sure about is if Chelsea finish outside of the top 4 but win the champs league whether that would mean 4th placed team only get to play on europa league as the champions are guaranteed to be in the champions league the following season now

If Chelsea win the CL and finish outside the top 4 then 5 teams will enter the CL
That will leave 2 European spots , one EL and one ECL
