So, how do we think everyone has done?

I was speaking to a Tory candidate I know and he was saying that anything above losing 300 council seats will be a total victory. Lib Dems are staring a wipeout and a fifth place finish in the face, with less abstention from young people, 41% of whom vote Green.

Have we all voted?

don't vote, don't trust politicians they all spout bs about what they will do differently but nothing ever changes for the working class. waste of time.

The Working Class need a proper Labour Party, and until they get the Labour Party back (or creatively destroy it) then there will be no progress for the working class on a par with the progress of the 40's-50's

Maybe we need some politicians from working class backgrounds not privately educated tossers who have no clue what's it's like trying to make ends meet. Scum of the earth the lot of them.

Went to vote this morning and was tempted by The Pirate Party but they all had normal sounding names so I think they were fake.

I'm afraid those days are gone and my concern with many 'labour' type movements is that they don't seem to grasp the changing landscape afforded by both globalization and automation. As a result, they seem rather more inclined to hark back to a bygone age than prepare their constituents for such an environment.

the problem at the heart of it all is that as a rough estimate:

Average working class vote: Left on Economics Right on immigration/crime etc.

Average Middle class vote: Left on Economics Left on immigration/crime etc.

Average upper class vote: Right on Economics Right on immigration/crime etc.

the problem is the working class are often slapped down for their "right" views on crime/immigration etc. are are labelled racists/bigots etc. and its why you have a political system stuck between a middle class Nu Labour Party and the Tories.

each to their own like but i dont get people who dont vote. I understand that people may have apathetic views of all politicians/political parties but look at it like this.........there will be a load of people that you class as knob heads who will vote. It may be your next door neighbour or some inbred banging on about the BNP you see on the news, it could be anyone whose opinion you dont value or whose viewpoint you dont like. A lot of people that fall into the 'knob head' category in your view will vote.

Why would you let someone you think is a knob head decide things that will affect you?

just my 2 pence like - as i say, each to their own, but that is how i look at it.

might vote green to balance out the right wing ukip madness, with some left wing lunacy

lovely

The more I see the mainstream media and liblabcon screaming "waycisst" at UKIP, the more I feel vindicated in voting for them
