I know if your in Europe you start in the EFL cup third round rather than the second

However what about if your in qualifying rounds? If we were to lose in the third qualifying round would we have to start in the second round of the league cup?

3rd Round, along with the rest. Regardless of us being knocked out.

Technically, we've qualified for Europe. Albeit, the preliminary rounds.
