i read some articles last year when the Bolton fans took a pasting at Athletico, Aberdeen fans went on their forum warning them what to expect and it all happened just as they warned them it would. the coppers hold the fans in an area outside the ground before the game and let the locals (pikeys by all accounts) have a good go at them, so by the time you get in the ground everyone is well brassed off after having rocks,flares, molotov cocktails etc thrown at them, and then the 1st sign of dissent and you get the local rozzers drawing their batons and knocking 10bells out of you. i swear it went just how the a'deen fans told them it would.

my 'arl fella texted me last year at night, to ask who played at the v.calderon stadium as they were next to it, i told him to lock the doors and get the fukc out of there, when they told a local where they had been, he looked at them strange and said they must be crazy to go in that part of the city and to count their wheels.

loads of vids on youtube where it appears the pigs let the fans get stuck into you then they take over

I think they got punished following the Bolton game, Gtr. Manchester police had guys over there who made official complaints, and as i remember spurs fans got tw@ted as well. So a bit of a long charge sheet against them, be interesting to see if there are any incidents involving the turks over there, they may end up with a closed stadium (i think they had that after Bolton) in which case nobody will be going, or they'll get kicked out of the comp.
