I think its this :
If we win the Fa cup.
If we are runners up and the winners finish in the top 4 therefor qualifying for Champions League.
Thats it.
If we are runners up and the winners have qualified for the Europa leauge the spot goes to 6th place in the league.
If Chelsea beat us in the final and win the champions League this season but finish 5th?
Don't know. I assume they take the 4th Champions League spot and we then take the last Europa League spot as opposed to 4th then being a Europa Spot and 5th getting the last Europa spot along with the Carling cup winners.

If we win the FA Cup we qualify. I think that's the only 'realistic' way we'll get in. Champs League qualification is wide open and there's no guarantee (after today's results) that Spurs/Chelsea will get 4th. Also, we'd need the winners of the Spurs v Chelsea semi to deffo get 4th which, as I say, is not a certainty. Also we got to beat the ***** first and despite current form there's no way its goin to be an easy ride.

i would luv it, absolutely luv it if we got europe ahead of newcastle, would be so funny after such a great season they've had, especially if we beat them last game of the season to deny them 4th. Football can be so cruel
