Looking forward to this.

Fancy Benfica to take it after Sevilla scabbed their way through the semi final.

Stephane M'Bia FFS. He'll be fuming if he has to go back to QPR won't he? Actually no. Serves him right for slating Everton a few years ago. Tit.

Benfica have half their squad suspended if memory serves me right. So there is hope for Sevilla.

Oh no. José Antonio Reyes plays for them. Hope lost.

Everton's entry into Europe next season serendipitously coincides with the tournament being 'upgraded' (status wise). I believe there's more money (might be wrong), and CL entry for the winner (certain of my facts)...I for one am very excited at that prospect. It won't be easy by any means, but I am also optimistic toward our fortunes.

That's where Southampton ended on the PL table, and by the sounds of all their player and managerial transfer rumours swirling about, I suspect they will be lower next year. And whilst I don't harbour any affection for Soton, I do feel empathy for their supporters. As I said on a different thread, the rich will continue to gorge on the less rich, until finally, like a snake eating its own tail, they eat themselves. Personally speaking, that day can't come soon enough.
