tbf Baines got 30 caps, which is more than I could remember. Always thought he was overlooked, because Cole was so good and the Everton equation. I only asked cos it was puzzling that the paucity of options has occurred again.

Baines was unlucky tbf, Ashley Cole was world class and prob one, if not the best, full backs England have had. Baines was unable to see how good he was at international level.
