Does anyone else have a FFT? I'm doing the Telegraph one myself. When I tell you I called the team CECHMATES you can tell how many points my defence has got me!

Chec (and Jankalowski) have been replaced and putting Arshavin in ahead of the Sweden game helped, but I'm still down in 31,900th position. I've made changes ahead of tonight's first quarter final, so my team is now:

I'm reckoning on a 1-0 win for Portugal tonight but, with six Portuguese in the side and only seven remaining changes available, if it goes tits up and Germany win....

Had to blow 4/5 subs replacing Ujfalusi, Ribery, Henry and Baros.

Im doing one with my mates (and GOTs forum one), my mates have each put in a fiver, 60 quid for the winner, 20 for 2nd, 15 for 3rd

were going to do a premier league one with about 20 people, each person has to give in a pound every match week - that way it doesnt seem much, but the winner would get tons.

They wouldn't do one with me at work. I buy the Telegraph and do their version of TTF but the rest read the Sun. I'm just happy trying to beat Hansen (as I did last season for the first time )

For what it's worth, my team before the Italy/Spain game (bearing in mind I only had 5 transfers left so was gearing up for the semis) was:

I've lost too many points in my defensive selections so only concentrated midfield and (thinking Toni might for once play like a world class at last, striker rather than a giraffe in pit boots ) up front.

Thanks to Buffon (again I chose the wrong one but at least he got me 11 points), plus Arshavin, van Nistelrooy and Sneijder the night before, I now am in position 25464 as one of 480-something people on 123 points and have four of my team still in the competion with only one guaranteed to get to the final (Arshavin or Villa) and only one transfer left!

The way it's been going for me the final is bound to be between Turkey and whichever of the teams whose goalkeeper I don't pick for the Spain/Russia semi-final!

Come to think of it I don't think a keeper would be the right pick for that match so it's got to be Torres or Pavlyuchenko (so Pavlyuchenko it is).

So, to sum up, with none of their players in my team, Turkey will win the final 10-0
