I didn't think it was a terrible performance from England, but it's rather embarrassing, the way the Swiss scored their goals.

What is James Milner doing anywhere near this squad? Capello should have the video him moving out of that two man wall on a constant loop in his office so he never picks him again.

Awful wasn't it? Just lack of basic organisation at set pieces.

Good team, though. Nobody thought they had a chance against us, the swiss and the bulgarians but they've been really impressive.

Anyway what I was implying was that getting worked up over a result in qualifying is stupid when we're still likely to qualify. We've not been great but we've been good enough so far and that'll do me.

That's a good point. We were great in qualifying for the last WC and look what happened.

Out of curiosity,how many of you blame Hart for either or both of the goals? I don't. Imo the first one was just one of those freaky things. Second was Milner's fault clearly.

First one, he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. My preference in the situation is for the keeper to play the ball, following it to the back post. But he'd certainly look very silly if he did that and someone played the ball before it got there.

Second one was clearly Milner. There's a reason why the keeper puts the wall where he puts it. There is absolutely no point in constructing the wall there if Milner pussies out and walks out of it.
