Interesting to hear what this feller says (after the ad!) concerning the future prospects of Bundesliga teams populating top revenue places in Europe soon due to a better tv deals - replacing Englsih teams as the largest contingent in the top 20.

Dortmund and Bayern are going to be the giants of Euro football going forward, and the likes of Schalke and Bremen wont be far behind. The German teams are run very soundly and dont have the type of debt that'll cripple other leagues.

We have been warned!!!!

Theyve got it absolutely spot on in Deutschland. They don't concern themselves with horrendous tv deals or a worldwide audience, they just get on with their own game and couldn't care less whether they're branded 'the best league in the world' or not. Look at their attendances too, absolutely staggering.

thats a complete myth. Only a select few are cheap, and they go v quickly.

No it's not. Not all tickets are extremely cheap, but most are.

Sorry, I was wrong. It's about £20.

A total of 12.88 million supporters watched Bundesliga football over 306 matches, up from 12.7 million, an increase of 0.7 per cent.

The amount of fans who bought season tickets also increased from 58% to 60%. The average price of a ticket is £20.11 (€22.75), making the Bundesliga the least expensive among Europe's top leagues.

DFL chief executive Christian Seifert told reporters: "[The Bundesliga is] an exciting competition with attractive matches, family-friendly ticket prices and modern stadiums [which] are the key factors to success."

Can see why you're sporting a KITT

This is spot on. We are too concerned about what people think.

The Bundesliga is the model to follow. They also have the 50+1 rule which ensures all clubs* are majority owned by ordinary fans not corporations.

*apart from the clubs historically brought into existence by businesses, such as Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg..
