Uefa president Michel Platini says the 2020 European Championship could be spread across various cities in Europe, rather than having a single host.
Traditionally one or two countries have hosted the tournament, which is being held in Poland and Ukraine this summer.
The next competition in 2016 will be hosted by France.
"The Euros in 2020 could be held all over Europe," said Platini. "It could be either one country and 12 stadiums, or one stadium in 12 or 13 cities

I'm with him on the technology but spreading the Euro's over cities is a bellish idea

Any teams that get beyond the group stage will be absolutely goosed with all of the game time and air travel in quick succession. Awful idea.

Just read the whole thing, Platini's actually being sound over the whole Ukraine 'goal' debate.

I'm with him on the technology bit aswell. If I was sure it would stop at that then fair play, but it wont. It will end up being every decision the ref makes. Players would make the 'box motion' and it would go to video ref. That would be horrific.

But the Euros spread around Europe? NO FFS NO.

all about the money. Not one flying fook has been given about the fans. Platini is a bellend of the highest order.

You can bet that if England got to the 2020 finals the fans would have to travel the longest way! Just think how it would go down with them all trying to book a flight to Israel one week followed by a game in Iceland the other

I like the idea.
Will stop the hotel companys in one country ripping off fans, with so many different hosts all being citys, it will allow fans to stay outside the citys if needed as the rest of thr country might not have any games.

This seems ideal for building up the Europen railway infrastructure. We need to get in first with our new stadium/train station to take advantage.

It's just the principle. It will be more like a collection of random matches than an actual event.

If you get what I mean.

I get what I mean.

Koff.

Soon.
