Euro 2016 - group draw

Is it normal that group games are spread across the country in these tournaments? I can´t remember for sure, but I though each group would be mainly based in one region?

Ireland play in Paris then Bordeaux and then Lille. Seems a bit ridiculous.

Might try get up to the Belgium game in Bordeaux, still cheap flights.

It was same in Poland, playing in poznan and gdansk. Going to the Sweden game on 13th it's going to be epic!

have tried for the Belgium game. hopefully get tickets. Got a Belgian friend trying to go to all 3.

in fact flights from Barcelona to Bordeaux are 70€ return around then so i think ill book anyway and hope for the best about tickets.

Haven't seen an away game since the 1-0 loss in Stuttgart under Staunton, and have never seen a tournament game with Ireland or anybody else!

Bordeaux is supposed to be a great city too. Not as ridiculously pricey as Paris.

wales are playing down the south, then up to the north to play england, then back down to the south for the final game. Tough one to try and organise, i think i'm going to stay in bordeaux for a week and a half or so during the 3 games. Maybe get a lift up to lens for the england game to soak up the atmosphere. Barely going to try and get a ticket beforehand, haven't got a cat in hell's.

so how does this 3rd place stuff work? teams who finish 3rd can also advance? I think group F is made up of arguably the weakest team in every pot.

Keep your eyes on the UEFA website, I got tickets for 3 games in 2012 through the official re-sale system.

got them well in advance then ;) ha

cheers mate, will have a look.

The FAI have been allocated a mere 13k tickets for the Sweden game (capacity 81k), 6k for the Belgium game (capacity 42k) and 7k for the Italy game (capacity 50k).

Absolute disgrace UEFA. The touts will have a field day.

I think thats not the end of the world.

I'm neither Swedish or Irish, but have a ticket for it. I'm excited, i'm a neutral (Pro-Sweden... Zlatan is King), and i'm not a tout, however, if some England idiot offers me €900 like touted for a Wales ticket, you know i won't be saying no!
