Totally agree with this. All credit to Eubank's enthusiasm and 'have-a-go' mentality, but Groves showed that he's the more astute boxer.

Nevertheless, I still don't think it was Groves best fight by any stretch of the imagination.

Junior didn't do enough but if he had power he'd still have won the fight. He caught groves with the cleaner punches, smith catches groves like that and its night night.

Eubanks tactics were none existent, Groves the complete converse.

He got schooled by him, he couldn’t get past Groves jab effectively and when he did Groves obviously had a plan to hold and grapple which worked perfectly.

Eubanks corner were pointless, even the cut man was total gash. His ego has stopped him taking on board quality boxing training and preparation imo, and last night he paid the price, you can’t reach elite level as some maverick go it alone egotist.

He had all the tools to undo Groves as well, so a frustrating night imo.
