Essien going out on LOAN

I'm refusing to get too excited, as it could well be a move to the continent.

BUT, it was widely reported that we enquired about a loan yesterday & were rebuffed - BUT this afternoon it was reported that we'd gone back.........(maybe after being priced out of N'Zonzi, due to the agreed purchase fee at the end of the loan????)

Essien at Everton? Lordy.
 
The problem will be his high wages... I dont think he is the same player anymore either.. too many injuries and harldy played last year... but not too much of a gamble on loan
 

Chelsea would have to pay some of his wages for it to happen , but he would be a great signing and give us excellent depth at CM .
 
Was going to post my own thread on this, there's plenty of talk about it in other threads but i think this certainly deserves a thread of it's own.

I would love this to happen, my old man is a CFC season ticket holder and rates him very highly (before his injury) but......form is tempory, class is permanent adn this guy is the latter for sure. He's a bull of a man and the thought of him and Gibson in the centre of the park gets me drooling.

I would certainly be a happy man if this came off, and i feel it my bones that it will.
