I've been a fan of ESPN since they had the PL last season and now the world cup. Great coverage, great commentators and generally really good punditry. Bar one. Alexi Lallas. Seriously, that guy is the stereotypical annoying american. He's like Richie Cunningham's annoying brother. The World Cup Tonight program is really good...round table discussion of games and talking points...but seriously, Lallas just spoils it. You can tell Roberto and Ballack are thinking WTF are we doing here around this t1t.

You're right. I meant the year before. (NBC coverage is a good as I've ever seen)

Ian Darke is my favourite commentator next to Martin Tyler.

I take it you are american? If so, you'll probably have never had to deal with the Tyldsley/Townsend combo

But Lallas...man, I just can't deal with him. He's got a face I'd never tire of hitting
 
Interesting that all you lads hate Lalas.

I followed him on Twitter for a bit but had to stop due to him being an actual bellend.
 

Other than Bob Ley calling Roberto Martinez our "skipper," it's been pretty good.

This isn't baseball, Bob. Skipper means something entirely different in footy.
