ESPN FC format changes

I suppose it's mostly Americans here who read ESPN FC / Soccernet, but I can't be the only person entirely dissatisfied with the new format.

Maybe one of these major networks will find a way to roll up all their stories, print it off with words that I enjoy reading, and drop it off on my doorstep on a daily basis. That seems like the way forward. No more slideshows, big pictures and headlines without a story body, and videos of heads yammering on an on about nothing.

What ever happened to reporting and editorials?

It's horrible, but that's good - ESPN's coverage is horrible, so this will prevent me from being tempted to go there.

Alternatives? I like to read... obviously GOT but I'd rather not get all my news from one source.

It's a big change, but I've never seen them roll back a layout change. We can only hope it's temporary.

it's FUGLY.

SI's Planet Futbol is slightly better. vastly prefer their journalism to the four letter network overall, but is lacking in soccer/futbol/football terms.

It just makes it a lot harder to access content and find football news that perhaps isn't main page news like Everton stuff.

Not that Everton get much coverage aside from Luke O'Farrell's blogs.

O'Farrell is genuinely very good I find. Not often that I disagree with what he's saying from a fans point of view.
I actually liked ESPN's old home pages, I found it easy to navigate. Now it just seems cluttered and all lumped together
