They gave notice of cancelling the MOU some time last Autumn after UEFA decided to prioritise, in terms of qualification, the top four countries in the Champions League and they also decided to dish out the prize money based partly on historic achievements.

I thought it was to do with televised games kicking off at the same time as Champions league? Not the actual playing of those games. Manchester City's game is on Sky I believe? I remember Celtic had a game at St Johnstone a few years back and it Kicked of at 5pm (or there abouts) because it was on the TV.

Yes, that was what we saying when Real played a few weeks ago.

But the City game is live on Sky at more or less the same time as the CL games, starting fifteen minutes later.
