Dario Terracotta

Player Valuation: £70m
Five points from nine, two away games, one home, we should be sat tonight with maximum points, but we are still "Evertoning" things up, Wolves drew with City today, we played with ten men most of that game and should still have won, half time today I would have gladly taken a point, which in a going around in circles way we got in the end, dodgy or marginal decisions in all three games have gone against us, still thought that was a soft, soft pen today and he couldn't wait to give it, anyhow the point of this very slightly sozzled post is I am actually enjoying watching our team again, looking forward to games(even Rotherham on wednesday nightlol)Things are improving, we are playing some nice, slick stuff the back four will improve when the new guys are integrated, hopefully this week, but after last season having the life sucked out of us by "he who shall not be named"it's refreshing and yeah we all want NSNO but it doesn't happen overnight, however a very decent start to a season against some adversity I would say,Enjoy it Blues, just think back a few short months.:)

Can't wait for @davek to see this thread

It seems daft that we let a 2-0 lead slip. But the main thing for me is, last season, we concede them 2 goals anyway and don’t have that 2 goal cushion.

Improvement in my eyes.

Exactly. Watching Everton under Sam Allardyce in that second half with ten men away from home would have been as enjoyable as poking your eyeballs with a needle. We would have gone 4-5-0 with as many defensive midfielders as we have on the books at the club.

..if folk are seeing progression it has to be good. I suspect there are players to come in who will make us better so it is important we continue to pick up points at this stage of the season.
