Also seen them demand parents pull sleeping babies up from small buggies to check for whatever. all non dodgy looking passangers as well.Just as bad in stanstead. Is the new policy

Yep, it would be much easier if all the bad guys just had big signs saying I'm a bad guy

Personally I think it's easier if there's two boarding gates. One for good guys and the other for baddies.

The simplest things are often the last to be recognised.

Our security is incredibly weak really. Airports are better, trains and ferries ridiculously poor

Yes mate, they're getting quite desperate to justify all the man-power and kit I reckon. The bod in charge of the US side of the game claimed on Radio4 that they haven't managed to find owt yet except a pistol around every 3-4months, and they are usually carried by senile OAP's who've forgotten to disarm before entering. Best bit is that those manning the imaging screens have a game of spotting the tampon string to keep themselves going.
