Baines out of the squad. I want him to go cos it will be good for his experience and I think he deserves it - but he's not going to play so would prefer him here rather than mixing with the tapping up malarkey.

However, Warnock? Hasn't played any of the warm up games - so why would he get the nod? Could it be the Liverpool connection and the instant belief that is all you need to get anywhere in life?
