Wembley 20:00
The latest leg of England's qualifying saga bungles into town amid a fair few talking points and one particular trip down memory lane which will either make you shiver or howl with laughter depending on where you allegiances are

Every time we come up against San Marino I have this flashback. I was at university when this happened and was settled in with some beers and a few mates. When the above happened there was just stunned silence - I couldn't even swear. One of my housemates came in a few minutes late and genuinely wouldn't believe that San Marino had scored. I still can't.
England's lowest ever point? Probably although the last few tournaments seem to have run that moment close.
Anyway probably the best thing about tomorrow's game is that John "I was repeating it sarcastically " Terry won't be there. He is gone from international football with whats left of his reputation tainted forever.
England don't need him and Shawcross has been called up instead who must be nailed onto concede a penalty on his international debut if he does his WWE impression at set pieces.
Also on England we will apparently be captained by Rooney. I can only think that this is a desperate attempt by Hodgson to coax a half decent performance out of him. He has been cack for England for beards and looking off the pace for United and generally unfit
Everton-wise Jagielka and Baines must be in with a decent chance of playing especially as Baines has been ace all round this season and Cole is on the naughty step with the FA. Please don't get crocked boys.
As for San Marino what is there to say?
A tiny state tucked away in the North East of Italy you could put their entire population in the stands of Goodison and have room to swing a honey badger.
Joint last in the FIFA rankings they hold the record for the heaviest ever defeat involving a European nation when Germany dry bummed them 13 - 0.
They do have girls who look like this though
England are a team apparently in transition. The fact that the transition is from jarg to jarger shouldn't make a blind bit if difference here.
Even with Jon Jo Selvey in the squad this should be a comfortable 5 or 6 nil win in front of a crowd wondering why they have forked out a fortune to watch it when they could be at home flicking over to watch Scotland - Wales every now and again.
