England vs. India

Never really watched cricket but even I realise that to totally demolish the best side in the world is a great achievement. Like England's football team beating Spain 7-0.

And Emile Heskey bagging a hat-trick.

Defo. Anyway I suppose we should just enjoy this England team. **** knows we've waited long enough for it...
too true ,just wish jimmy anderson could play in lancs last 4 games ,what with durham getting beat today its there to be won, going to blackpool, wedensday cooks if you fancy a day on it,they play worcester

Not sure I approve of you supporting the English Cricket team, to be honest mate. You're getting the benefits of enjoying the finest cricket team in the world without the suffering of supporting our football team, too.

Dirty pool, that.

They have been unlucky with injuries, were cursed by their boards refusal to use referrals for LBW, and have come up against a very good England team playing in perfect (for England) conditions.

Balls to the above mate (no pun intended). Firstly, it's called home advantage. Why do you think India are so hard to beat at home? Because they make low slow turning wickets that make you die of boredom if you don't of the ****s first. Add to that England scored 700+, wasn't really that tough to bat on if you showed a bit of steel right?

England have had injuries too, Tremlett, Trott, big players. Not to mention from a player pool of potentially a billion people and being the monetary powerhouse of the game, you'd think they'd stump up with a few class ring-in's wouldn't ya?

Finally, the referral thing that they seem to be so hard done with, pretty sure Strauss would have made a ton at the least if the delivery he was bowled with was referred for a no-ball.

Not that the Indian's need any excuses right? Think that's covered it.

some side this england team ,and good old bet 365 went 4/1 an england win at lunch, could be a late one again after the sheff u game cooks

Unbelievably good bowling attack and fielding game. In 8 innings the Indian team who were number 1 in the world including, sehwag, tendulkar, Dravid, laxman, dhoni and gambir only reached 300 once.

Stand and applaud lads, stand and applaud. You may not see that again for a very long time.
