Wow. On what I've since the early days of Capello's reign, when they were pretty good, the years since have
seen the worst England teams in my memory. And I go back a long, long time.

By no means are England going to win the World Cup, but this is an exciting team. Roy hasn't received the same media love-in Harry Redknapp would have been given. Expectation are lower than they have been for years. This current England side is no way near as bad as people like to make out.

While I agree about Gerrard, i'm also convinced that Carrick would struggle just as much, and Barry too. Sadly.
