Couple of months ago he was on a five live programme about British football and some of his insights were really impressive.

Southgate is probably the least inspiring appointment possible.

After that piss poor showing in the u21 tournament it became clear that England needed to tear down the current setup and start again from scratch bringing in new ideas and revolutionising the way our players approach the game. Who is the man for that job ? Someone inventive / creative / inspiring / loved by the fans.....

You can't polish a turd can you? We simply have a poor crop of young players. What was it, 2 from the entire under 21 squad that played in the PL on the opening weekend?

Do we expect to win championships with that?
