He wasnt asking for the ball. He just mopes around the middle of the part with no urgency and plays the simple ball.

Compare that to the lad that can pick the ball up and run with it...he's a miles away from doing that again.

He didn't seem to be doing too badly to start with but as the half went on i noticed Shelvey dropping deeper to pick the ball up as Jack watched.

It must be confidence, needs a good run in our team to see how he gets on.

He was never like that though. when him and gosling came through they were always wanting the ball, keen to impress.
