Quick question: As an Englishman and wanting my country to be successful but at the same time being a blue - would you want to see Barkley and Stones play in the euros over the summer and maybe help us win the tournament or keep them here and fresh for next season?

Prefer them to be fresh, but I actually think these tournaments will benefit the players in the long term.

I want our lads fresh, injury free and ready to start the season with the flourish they were missing last season.

And playing in some tournament over the summer cannot help in that respect.

Stones has only played 27 games this season so shouldn't really be knackered I wouldn't have thought. Even Ross has only played 35 games, with 8 of those from the bench. He shouldn't really be tired out either as despite the Euro campaign he's had a relatively modest workload.
