I was given a free ticket in work last night . I forgot I even had it today this thread has just reminded me. I've never been to watch them and doubt I ever will.

I had the joy of going to watch Howard Wilkinson's one and only game in charge of the national team in 99 if i remember correctly. We lost to France 2-0 and Anelka ran our back line ragged. Never been back and never been tempted too.
If ever there was a time to see all that was wrong with English football it was that night. Truly awful and the fact Wilkinson ever held any kind of important role within the FA is criminal, never mind over seeing training methods etc.
