So Capello thinks Gerrard should be captain. On what grounds?
Sure he is great at club level but he has the personality of a can of paint not to mention his very average England performances over the last couple of years.I am none too happy so far with Capello having picked useless Heskey in his original squad.

No problem at all with Gerrard being skipper for tonight's game. I wouldn't say many of the current England squad have much in the way of personality and would rather him than Ferdinand, especially while Terry's out of the picture.

I'd go for Gareth Barry but then he's not yet an England regular.
