Significant for me as Shackleton and his story has been a major personal inspiration. (I pity the youth who insteas have 'influencer' inspirations who dab makeup or blabber inane opinions instead).

I lived on a boat on the Thames that I named Endurance for six years.

If we avoid relegation this year it will be through determination and grit - the club should take a leaf out of Shackleton's book.

I've a big interest in this whole area as I've been fascinated by Tom Crean for years. A truly amazing set of men to take on what they did.

The level of preservation is astounding, it`ll be a really tough and incredibly expensive job, to raise it and keep everything in one piece.

Think its protected by some kind of Antarctic preservation order. I've read it will remain in situ.

Amazing discovery. Can't wait for the documentary. I too was on a ship called Endurance this one's successor.

Mate there are these things called books that were all the rage when I was a children, before the Internet was invented by Sky in 1992.

The level of preservation is astounding, it`ll be a really tough and incredibly expensive job, to raise it and keep everything in one piece.

I doubt they'll do that as its a registered monument and 3km down. Also it would be a massive challenge to preserve it once up and exposed to oxygen and, inevitably if people were to see it as an attraction, warmer temperatures.

Easier to take people to it!
