End of the Pink Kit

So does anyone else hope that Wigan match was the last match for that pink kit? I was willing to give it a shot, but it hasn't grown on me. Especially now that we have those lovely vanilla ones or I wouldn't mind seeing us go back to something like the old black with pink pinstripes from last year (though I imagine those are hot to play in when the weather is hot).

And while I'm on the subject, have we played a good match in that kit yet? I'm not superstitious, but I know a lot of athletes are (at least in america) and it may be nice to just stop with this thing...

I don't know if you noticed this, but Everton are rather short on cash. Nobody is forced to buy the new kits every season, if you want to be up to date with what the squad is wearing then you can but many, many Evertonians don't bother. It's not as if you'll get picked on by the lads at the first away game of the season if you're not rocking the new gold number.

I got my wife one last week as they're being sold off for a tenner and she'd mentioned she liked it, and she watched the Villa game with me and actually started taking an interest and asking loads of questions. She's only ever been bothered about the game when we make the trip to Goodison or wherever and can't usually be arsed with it on box. Her support has only really been to humour me up until now.

She said "well, now I've got the shirt I should start taking a proper interest".
