Emigrating to Oz - Advice :)

I noticed there was a few Evertonians living in Australia posting on the forum, I'm after some advice on emigrating there.

I am still young enough (just!) to get a working holiday visa to get me over there but within that year I will need to get a job with sponsorship so that I can stay long term, do you have any advice on making the move? Getting a job with sponsorship? Or know of any work I could apply to do?

All help appreciated even if it is just a story of how you managed to get there!

There's not that many on this forum who've done any travelling TBH mate. We all go to Butlins n that.

Quick way in is via an Indonesian fishing boat. Just remember to lose your passport during the voyage.

Seriously though, Immigration advice is not my forte', but what sort of experience do you have? What are you looking for? What lifestyle are you after? Sydney & Melbourne are where most of the jobs are at, but Queensland or Perth is where the tourism brochure lifestyle is.

Just move to Newquay mate, it's basically the same but all the knobheads leave after the summer, in Australia you're stuck with them.

If you work on a farm for 3 months then that'll entitle you to a 2nd year on your working holiday visa.

I've not lived there mate unfortunately. According to those who are it's getting dead expensive though, so unless I was in a mining job in Perth or living on a beach on the Gold Coast I'd probably swerve it and look to the States or Canada.
