Khalekan

Player Valuation: £80m
Who the heck is this outfit?

They have just pinched Serie A rights from BT...to go with winning La Liga from Sky.

They are a dominant force in Poland. Started about two-three years ago and since then they acquire rights to Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Championship and english cups.

This year they were taken over by the biggest polish media holding - Polsat.

Jokes on them. Unless they get Robert Warzycha as their top pundit, I don't care about la liga or serie a.

The Leeds owner is the owner of the uk Eleven sports

The UK-based company has already set up sports channels around the world, but has confirmed it will launch two channels in the coming weeks to screen the Spanish and Italian games including Cristiano Ronaldo's debut season for Juventus.

Those two channels will be available online, but Eleven hopes to strike a carriage deal with the likes of Sky, BT and Virgin so its channels can be shown on their platforms too.

How much it will cost to subscribe to the new Eleven Sports service has yet to be confirmed, but the company has promised it will be flexible suggesting fans could have the option of subscribing month-by-month or longer-term.

Eleven Sports 1 will show football only with Eleven Sports 2 promising more football along with fight sports, esports and extreme sports. Eleven promises to announce further "top-tier" sports rights shortly.

Oh how I can’t wait until the day you have to have 11 subscriptions just to watch a foreign game or two. Exciting times :coffee:

Does Sky genuinely have anything but Prem, Football League now?

They've literally lost all their little pieces like La Liga, Eredivisie, CSL...

Mad.

No tractor pulling I see, that was a staple on Screensport.

I'm not a fan of streaming and watching games on a tablet, but I am a big Serie A fan in particular, so I'll be signing up. The annual pass isn't bad value, and I haggled with Sky last week to get a cut in what I pay them, to help pay for this.

The fragmentation in sports rights is very problematic and costly though. Its the consumer that loses out.
