now you're gonna hear about it
There is a Blue in my area whose dad is running for local office. I don't personally know either--should I vote for his dad just because his son is a blue? All comments appreciated.

Note: the dad running for office has other children, at least one of whom is a United fan, so I can't account for his ethics entirely.

C'mon, this is a Louisiana election... <insert any number of appropriate jokes>

"put away the good stuff, here comes Carville..."
"don't get caught with a dead girl or a live boy in your bed"
"vote for the crook, it's important"
"we found this 100,000 dollars in your freezer, Sir..."

It's a gold mine. Then again, I come from a place where Carl Hiassen books are just about like real life.

And then there's Charlie Crist. Here's my song for Charlie:

As long as he's not one of those tea party lunatics then definitely..

Interested to see how that Colorado mail-in vote system works. Sounds like a nightmare. Still amazed that when I voted early in Maryland I didn't need to show any form of ID.
